I took the plunge and dared to step out in something a little uncommon for most girls! While a skirt is pretty and feminine on its own–maybe even sexy–when pulled on over pants, shorts, or a dress, the style gets a cool new lease on life.
I paired a pair of basic navy black straight pants with a tribal print skirt that had a greenish base (the fabric is definitely A/W style). I wore it with The Chic Tee ‘I’m a GOAL DIGGER” t-shirt that comes with a custom folded lace sleeve, a baby blue mini bag, maria martinez tassle earrings and a t-strap block heel with fur at the back.
GAH! You are probably not sure if you should try it, don’t worry you need an extra pill of confidence if this is truly far left for you. I had a television appearance so I went as my true self, of course I gave my PR a heads up on that (well it was more like,”do not look at me strange today,I’m coming out”,). For makeup, I went with everybody’s favorite lippy from MAC; Ruby Woo and I tied my braids into a half bun.
With that said, find a pair of pants and skirt that will flatter your body without looking like a regular outfit. For this look, I recommend slightly loose fitting pants, faux leather pants or your pair or denims. It’s best served with contrasting fabrics,make it bold and go for print everything!
